Живописный Корфу – очень красивый, зеленый греческий остров в Ионическом море. Корфу покрыт оливковыми и апельсиновыми рощами, кипарисами, разнообразными яркими цветами.
Здесь длинные песчаные пляжи и чистейшее изумрудное море.

Древнегреческие мифы рассказывают о том, что этот чудный остров заложил бог морей Посейдон.
Столица Корфу — город Керкира, здесь много больших площадей и узеньких улочек, аллей в венецианском стиле со старинными каменными фонтанами. Также есть прекрасно сохранившийся Старый город – объект Всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО.

На Корфу много семейных ресторанов и уютных таверен. Идеальное время для посещения острова – с июня по начало сентября.
